Foliage Type:   Coarsely cut, pinnate lobes with long white hair on underside, very dark green.

Planting Requirements:   Set at same level it is at in the container, firm well and water in thoroughly.

Unique Characteristics:   The deeply fringed flowers are held in attractive heavily fringed bracts. This is a very drought resistant plant and very resilient to many climatic and growing situations. It makes a strong accent in the garden and is lovely as a cut flower. This is a rare color form. Also good for naturalizing in grass areas or wildflower gardens.
 
Pruning:   Remove spent flowers to tidy up the plants.
 
Time of Pruning:   after flowering
 
Additional Information:   Flower stems can be cut back after flowering to promote compact new growth. Dark foliage is attractive. May require staking.
