i am very pleased. I keep mine in a pot and move it to the south side of the house for winter. to my surprise when I moved it back on the porch i found about 15 little plants coming up around where the plant wintered. all the babies are doing great with very little care.
"I bought three of these in the Fall, and I already have beautiful flowers on two. One is still tiny. The other two are great and such a pretty flower!"
Wonderful flower striking color Very easy to grow Would definitely recommend for the Texas heat
I got these last year and plan to order more to fill in the gaps b/c they are just gorgeous! You can see them from the road and just make the landscape just pop with color!
"I bought this and planted it in the spring and it flowered within a few weeks. I was expecting it to flower for a few weeks, as most perennials do but it flowered all summer, non stop and continued flowering through the fall and it is almost January and it is still flowering. My plant of 10x10in always has at least 5 flowers on it. I think you can even dead head it and plant those to make new plants. Really bright and striking blooms."
"I took a chance on this one. When the flowers showed up at my home they were small, young, and I didn't think that they would bloom as full as the photo. BUT...to my amazement, they did! Absolutely beautiful as a border. COLOR EVERYWHERE!!! I have a few spots in the border that need filling in for next year. Purchasing more Arizona Sun Gaillardia is already on my ""to buy more"" list for next spring."
received them a few weeks ago. still have not transplant them on the ground.kept them near a window. they double the size in two weeks. excellent.
"Ordered these last year and when I put them in the ground they didn't look like much, but as soon as the summer hit they took off and have beautiful flowers that each one would last a very long time and the plant it's self kept on blooming into the fall!! Ordering more Gaillardia's this year!"
This is one of the only perennials I've found that can actually withstand Alabama heat... even thrive in it! They required water every couple of days until they were established. Now they have tons of flowers on them and are a beautiful border plant for my garden. Everyone who lives in zone 8 and needs a full sun plant that can actually survive full sun in the South should buy these!
"I bought 2 of these and 1 seems to be blooming real nice, a lot of blooms, but the other one is real slow and small, only saw one bloom, waiting for some more. hopefully next year both will do good...fingers crossed"
"I used to buy annulas every year to put in pots, but these are my new favorites. They are the perfect size and bloom like crazy."
"I put two of these in about June. They were two smal seedlings, but healthy...WOW, they are huge, flowers EVERYwhere all the time. Never require watering, don't fry in the full sun, grow like crazy. I am set on ordering MORE. May line my whole walkway with all three varieties of this wonderful plant. Rest assured, I am an absentminded gardener with a full time job and 4 teenage boys....I can't kill these plants. BEST thing I ever bought!!!!"
I love these flowers. I just ordered more. They are so bright and brilliant and they keep blooming. These are my favorite in my garden.
