The Arizona Gaillardias start blooming in late spring, earlier than any other Gaillardia; they also keep blooming longer, clear through fall! They set masses of buds that open to unusually large 4" flowers, on plants that are neatly mounded, only 12" tall and wide, and amazingly uniform. They laugh at heat, humidity, poor soil, cold, even drought. Grow in well-drained normal to sandy soil; use a raised bed if you have clay. Collection includes one red, one gold, and one bicolor plant. Zones 3-9. Ships in 3" pot. Gaillardia 'Arizona Sun'. Full sun. Deer tend to avoid. 1 collection (3 plants).

These flowers are beautiful. I planted them in a part shade garden and they just went wild. They bloomed all summer leaving delightful color where once it was just so boring. I bought more this season.
