A real winner Review by Pamela Raymer - Indianapolis, IN

This gaura is a big improvement over others I have purchased in the past. It seemed to take off overnight and is gorgeous even when not blooming! I put mine in a planter and found that cutting it back early makes it fuller and bloom better. All of my Springhill plants are thriving while plants ordered from other companies start out fine and then just seem to give up. Thank you for the quality you offer.

The Gaura Red Butterflies plant will be a hit with star-shape flowers on wiry stems. The compact habit of the Gaura Gaudi is just right for a container or rock garden. Cultivate the perennial plants 15 to 18 inches apart in partial shade to full sun for colorful perennial flowers with dark green leaves and raspberry-red blossoms.

The Gaura Red Butterflies plant is aptly named as the flowers look like tiny butterflies fluttering in the breeze. Even before the Gaura Gaudi produces its raspberry-red flowers in early summer, its attractive foliage emerges in spring tinged with red before maturing to dark green. These perennial plants from our flower nursery prefer well-drained soil and, once established, are drought tolerant. Watch these perennial flowers grow up to 15 inches tall, and enjoy their blooms for several weeks.
