Spectacular is the only way to describe the Kaleidoscope Hydrangea. The gorgeous 'Hobella' variety opens in midsummer with pastel pink blooms, which change to striking lime green before eventually creating a dramatic display of cherry red. Often during their long flowering period, all three colors will be seen at the same time amidst lustrous dark green leaves. Excellent for container plants. Grows 3' tall in cooler climates; 5-6' in milder areas. They spread out to a width similar to their height. Extremely hardy, they'll grow more expansively and return to create their spectacular color show year after year. Grows best in partial shade with protection from hot late-afternoon sun. Beautiful 6 ft. Plant. It blooms green or white then turns brown and brown blooms last for 3 mts or until cut off. Do I need something extra in soil to produce red color.?
