This fabulous new redbud is giving many plant lovers a big case of Gotta-Have-It! The leaf colors are spectacular, with new growth starting apricot, graduating to vivid gold, and finally to bright green. And if you water in dry spells, it will keep flushing the tangerine new growth over the entire summer into fall! Its tough constitution lets it withstand drought, heat, poor soil and pollution, while the leaves are impervious to sunburn. Excellent for wildlife, too – in spring, butterflies and early-arriving hummingbirds love the nectar of the small, bright pink flowers. Later, the seeds attract a number of songbirds, including goldfinches, quail, and the occasional chickadee or cardinal. Zones 5-9. Cercis canadensis 'JN2' PP21451. Full Sun to Partial Shade. 2-3' Bareroot.

I received my bareroot tree and like always it was just a 3 ft twig. Planted and w/i a week the leaves sprotted. The colors are so beautiful. I water every day as it has been very hot and summer rains have not really started. Looks just like the photo shown and I am very happy w/ my quality product.
I just planted my trees today. I can't wait to see them grow. I do wish I could find more information on how to continue to care for them. Thanks, Dspotb.
Got this tree last year. I got a sad looking bare root. As soon as I planted it it began to flower then leaves appear, did not grow much but showed a lot of beautiful colors. This year is an amazing sight. Beautiful heart shaped leaves ranging from lively green to yellow and pinks. I love this tree...I wish I'd buy another one...highly recommended if you's like an accent tree...just awesome!
