    Product Description

We're always looking for plants that show colors as close as possible to black, because they up the drama in the garden. They look especially sophisticated when paired with pastel hues. That's what makes this variety so pleasing, black stems are paired with large, baby-pink mophead blooms. Flamingo is intriguing in the border, containers and as a surprising cut-flower feature. You'll have plenty of time to enjoy this color contrast, too—it blooms prolifically, on both old and new wood, extending the show through summer. The plant is disease tolerant and rabbit resistant. Ensure the planting site has alkaline soil if you want the flower color to be pink. Hydrangea macrophylla Onyx™ 'Flamingo' PP27598
