Product Description

This salvia just won't stop bringing you blooms throughout its long season. From midsummer into autumn, you'll have plentiful arrangements and floral color in the border. The flowers are lovely too. Because they start in midsummer, they'll take over when the earlier summer flowers are fading, and ensure your garden stays lovely and inviting through its transition to fall. The color is bright and the form is fully double, so you'll have nice, fluffy plumes. Perfect to soften all the hard edges of a rock garden, and since Plumosa is drought tolerant, it'll thrive beautifully in a rockery. If you're going for a kind of a rustic-chic farmhouse look in the home, you could dry these blooms and put them in a mason jar or milk jug as a dried bouquet. They have a sweet pop of color for a nightstand. Salvia nemorosa 'Plumosa'
