    Product Description

These extraordinary flowers face the sky, held upwards on their stems like serving platters. They're large, and guests will have no trouble spotting them trailing romantically along a trellis. The bicolor is unusual, especially in how broad these white midribs are, really brightening things up. Then a sort of inky violet hue around the centers heightens the drama even further. We don't get much of a chance to talk about clematis foliage, but these leaves are unique. They're brilliant green and dissected—as much a pop of color as the vibrant blooms. We're proud to introduce such an incredible variety, Amaranthine is brand new and exclusive to Spring Hill Nurseries. It's named after a legendary unfading flower, and in the garden, you'll find Amaranthine's blooms incredibly long lasting. Clematis 'UTOP01' AMARANTHINE

Amaranthine Clematis is in the GREEN pruning category. It blooms on old and new wood, so prune as often or as fully as you like to promote reblooming. See our Stoplight Pruning Guide for more information.
