A large-flowered clematis that boasts an abundance of pale, sky-blue flowers that measure a substantial 4-6" across. They have a fine, silky texture and ruffled edges, giving them a lacy, delicate appearance. In truth, these plants are hardy, vigorous growers that are very versatile in the summertime landscape. Like other clematis varieties, Blue Angel is a vining perennial that looks amazing atop a trellis or pergola, along a fence line or over a garden arbor. Flowers from early summer through early fall. First introduced by Brother Stefan Franczak of Poland, it received the Gold Medal at Plantarium in Boskoop. Tolerant of most soil types. Deer and rabbit resistant. 3" pot. Clematis 'Blekitny Aniol'
