    Product Description

Astilbe are a staple for those wanting color in the shade as they rebloom summer after summer in mostly woodland borders. Many gardeners with shady places also must contend with deer, whose nibbling of expensive plants can be infuriating. Not so with Astilbe, which the deer tend to ignore. We developed this value-priced collection of 6 Astilbe plants, in our choice of varieties, to entice you to try again in that wildlife cafeteria you call a shade garden. They really aren't fussy, but will not tolerate drought, so watch for hot, dry spells and periodically give them a deep drink. If your soil is loamy and moist, they'll be fine and reward you with flowers that appear to float above the ground covers. Add the benefit of long-lasting cut flowers and you have a solution befitting both man and beast. Collection contains 3-4 Astilbe hybrids of our choice. Total 6 plants. Astilbe mix
