Why relegate purples to spring or deep jewel tones to fall? With Aubergine a la Mode Bearded Reblooming Iris, you can enjoy rich, royal tones in the midseason. This tall bearded iris opens in a deep eggplant purple, with splashes of darker purple and creamy white on the falls. Orange beards contrast nicely with the indulgent aubergine tones. This iris reaches three feet tall, and, like other German irises, offers blade–shaped foliage that is attractive in the garden for months.
