There are two very good reasons to get excited about Augusta Variegated Gardenia. First off, the summer flowers freshen your landscape with that gorgeous classic gardenia perfume. Second, that mesmerizing variegation on its foliage stays strong all year round. The evergreen nature means reliable structure. No matter what, whichever lines you're expecting it to make in your landscape, it'll provide them consistently. Plus, variegated foliage is exciting. If you're doing a mixed hedgerow, it'll add some texture and color to the classic greens of your other shrubs. It can grow up to 8' and spread to 5', although it stays more compact if it's kept in a large patio pot. Just be sure to give it consistent regular waterings, and Augusta will give a beautiful show.
