This newer, improved cultivar has a fuller and more mounded form that resists becoming leggy. You can also prune it to whatever shape and height you'd like any time in the growing season. Add in its compact size, and you've got a beautiful container plant or low hedge. In climates colder than zone 7, you can either use this as an annual or use it as a houseplant in winter, so long as you've got a sunny window for it. It's an easy plant, tolerating heat and drought well, and rarely of interest to deer. The flowers are fascinating in beautiful, rounded clusters.
