Product Description

The first seed strain of Heliopsis displaying no yellow, Bleeding Hearts Heliopsis presents a show of vibrant sunset colors in shades of red, bronze and golden orange. Heliopsis, sometimes called "false sunflowers," are native to North America, and are hardworking, unsung heroes of the garden. Perfect in a wildflower or pollinator garden, heliopsis bloom from midsummer until frost. The rich green leaves and black flower stems of Bleeding Hearts Heliopsis lend to the rustic, native look of these gorgeous plants. Their tall height makes them perfect for planting in the back of a bed or border. Don't forget to snip some for an indoor arrangement. Heliopsis helianthoides var. scabra 'Bleeding Hearts'
