Product Description
Familiar yet entirely unique, Blue Agapanthus has long stems and bright sprays of lavender blue blooms, slightly reminiscent of alliums. Great form for unique bouquets. They'll rise up above a stylish clump of arching, straplike foliage, which fills out a container nicely. This variety performs well in coastal areas, as it has a great tolerance to windy, salty sea air. It's a tropical plant, and in northern zones it's great in a container you can easily bring inside once the weather starts cooling. In warm southern zones, you can leave it in the garden with winter protection. If you don't cut down the flower stalks in fall, the seed heads provide architectural beauty through winter months.
