Dark blue-purple flower panicles and slender, lancelet foliage give Delta Blues a more refined look than other vitex. Adding to its attractiveness are small, shiny red fruit. Delta Blues has a more compact, rounded to upright habit than other varieties. The chaste tree is a southern favorite that is gaining in other regions. In some areas, it is grown like a herbaceous perennial and its foliage dies to the ground. In warmer climates, it is pruned and treated more like a shrub. It prefers sunny locations and is a great choice for shrub borders. Vitex agnus-castus 'Piivac - II' PPAF
