    Product Description

You'll love this azalea even when it isn't blooming. Its foliage is handsome and its habit is tidy and compact, fitting in smaller borders as reliable year-round structure. Handsome and reliable--you've really lucked out. And then the mid spring to early summer blooms come, and they are outstandingly beautiful. The colorful edges make the ruffled blooms almost glow. They attract pollinators to your shrub border easily. This is an improved variety of Hachmann's Charmant, the most important improvements being a longer bloom time, bigger blooms and stronger leaf substance. The leaf substance is especially useful in making it evergreen and winter hardy in more zones than warm weather azaleas can take, thriving all the way down to zone 5.
