Product Description

Experience the qualities that have kept peonies coveted by generation after generation of gardeners with our Classics for Cutting Collection. Each of these three tried-and-true varieties produce large, fragrant, double blooms that look just as much at home gathered in a vase as they do out in the garden bed. They all last for decades with very little maintenance. That, along with the fact that the foliage stays lush even after the blooms have faded, means they can be used to create lasting structure in the garden. Deer don't tend to eat peonies, but butterflies and other beneficial pollinators are drawn to the blooms.

Spring 2022 Shipping SKU 63381 Includes: Felix Supreme, Pillow Talk and Sarah Bernhardt.

Fall 2022 Shipping SKU 81471 Includes: Felix Supreme, Pillow Talk and The Fawn.

Peonies have few requirements: give them a sunny well-drained location, plant 2-4' apart, with the eyes (new buds at the crown) no more than 2" below soil level and apply fertilizer or compost in spring. They take a while to establish, often 3 years before the first bloom--but the wait is worth it. They are heirloom quality. Let them grow undisturbed and they will bring joy to you and your loved ones through the decades.
