Product Description

This Asiatic lily produces an abundance of large, 6-8" blooms of shimmering, scarlet-red atop 3-4' tall plants. This stunner grows almost anywhere in zones 3 to 9 in full sun to partial shade. You'll adore these blooms, but deer won't—they tend to avoid it.

  • Spread: 15 - 18 inches
  • Spacing: 10 - 12 inches
  • Hardiness Zone: 3-9
  • Flowering Date: Mid summer
  • Planting Instructions: Plant with 4" of soil above the bulb. Plant in fall or very early spring. Plants should be spaced 12'' apart.
  • Winter Care: If fall planted, mulch the first winter. Remove in early spring before growth starts
  • Shipped: 12-14 CM BULB
  • Growth Rate: Moderate once established. It takes 6 - 8 weeks for a good root system to develop
  • Shipping Season: Spring
  • Flower Color: Red
  • Flower Form: Large upright facing flared flowers in bold terminal panicles
  • Foliage Type: Dark green, lance shaped, 3" - 4" long, 1/2" - 3/4" wide
  • Pruning: Cut back spent flower stems by 1/3 After flowering. Remove flowers as they fade.
