Product Description
The petals are anything from nearly white to rosy pink, and the mauve throats stand out beautifully. This is not a winter hardy plant and is mostly used as an annual. The bushy foliage forms a dense mat, great for use as a ground cover to fill in around newly planted perennials that'll need a few seasons to start looking impressive. If you're creating an annual container garden, the foliage is a great filler and then pretty phlox-like blooms come from late summer to the first frost, so it'll keep the floral interest in your planter after earlier flowers begin to fade. It's low maintenance—drought tolerant and not necessary to prune. You might also know annual vinca as periwinkle. Catharanthus roseus
