    Product Description

    A colorful splash of pink and blue! This hardy succulent forms a perfect, circular mound of arching stems covered with fleshy, round, blue foliage with a deep pink line. The foliage turns pink in the winter. In late summer, flat heads of pink flowers bloom on 8" stems.

    • Planting Instructions: In clay soil, rhizomes should be slightly exposed. In sandy soil, they can be covered an inch or two. Full sun is best, at least 5 hours of sunlight each day. Water during dry periods.
    • Winter Care: None, except to mulch lightly the first year if planted in fall. Remove the mulch early in spring, before new growth starts.

    • Flower Form: Small, star-shaped flowers bloom at the ends of short stems.
    • Foliage Type: 3/4" round, blue-green leaves borne in 3s around the stems and each leaf is narrowly outlined in deep pink. In fall the foliage turns shades of pink, red, yellow and orange.
    • Pruning: Pruning is not necessary. This is a very low-maintenance plant. Divide every 3-4 years to maintain its compact growth habit.
    • Soil Requirement: Well-drained, average soil. Does not like to be wet.
