Product Description

We could all use a taste of the tropics in our garden design, just something that makes the backyard feel more like a vacation, right? The massive, 18" wide leaves of Elephant Ear transform its surroundings, bringing island sunshine to your home. You can put Elephant Ear in a water garden, right on the edge of a pond or in a marshy area. We also love this one as a container plant. You can set it up right next to your patio furniture to create a mood when you're out lounging. Or you can bring your container garden out into the yard as a feature. Elephant ear does great in a big pot with some caladiums or coleus for color. Either way, in winter, you can roll the pot indoors to protect it from damaging frost and fill your home with tropical flair in the process—it'll be an easy pick-me-up through gloomy winter weather. Colocasia esculenta
