    Product Description

This succulent can stand up to both drought and frost as long as the soil remains well-drained. It thrives in harsh sunlight and heat, too, making it ideal for containers and rock gardens. Each rosette can grow up to 6" across. Its deep silvery-green leaves are edged in short hair-like strands. In early summer, spikes of star-shaped purple flowers appear on the plant. In cooler months, the whole rosette's silver-green color takes on a beautiful bronze tint. Smaller rosettes—the "chicks"—will grow around Emerald Empress. Increase the number of succulents by removing the smaller chicks and replanting elsewhere. Sempervivum 'Emerald Empress'
