Show off your homemade dip at the next party, complete with homegrown dill. Fernleaf Dill is a creative addition to mixed annual pots, and because this is a compact variety, it'll fit into a smaller spot. The feathery fernleaf form is beautiful, too. We've got it in our butterfly-attracting annual collection because swallowtails especially love its yellow blooms. The flower heads also dry well—a unique, airy touch to a dried arrangement. It's easy to grow, and can even be added to a woodland garden. Anethum graveolens

Keep plants trimmed if you don't want it to go to seed. You can dry any unused fresh leaves and use later. Any time.

Plants appreciate consistent soil moissture. Do not allow to dry out.
Don't' plant near caraway, fennel or angelica. Dill tends to struggle when planted near strong herbs.
