Product Description

With foliage that rivals the flowers for seasonal interest, Flaming Silver Pieris is a workhorse in the shrub border or woodland edge. This highly ornamental broadleaf evergreen shrub with a dense multi-stemmed, upright spreading growth habit features a delicate, showy chain of small white bell-shaped flowers and fiery red new foliage—leaves become silver variegated in summer. In spring, its flowers hang low and attractive dark green foliage emerges pink and is edged in white. Its glossy narrow leaves are highly ornamental and remain dark green throughout the winter. Performs best in moist, organic and acidic soils. Pieris japonica 'Flaming Silver'
