Product Description

Lovers of variegated foliage can make an easy feature out of the dappled leaves of this willow. They hold up particularly well, too, resisting sunburn better than your average variegated variety and tolerating rainy and windy weather. Instead of the full tree form, this is a compact shrub willow with an upright habit. It can bring structure as well as interest planted as a hedgerow or foundation planting. Even when the leaves fall, the shiny red stems keep the plant looking lively and particuarly festive against fresh-fallen snow. It's also a fast-growing container specimen, and as willows tolerate wet sites well, you can add it to a water garden. Salix integra 'Flamingo' PP17490
