It's rare to find a large-flowering clematis with a good, noticeable fragrance. It's also always been rare to find much from the Vancouver Clematis series in US stores as we currently offer. The stars must have aligned just right for us to get this darling vanilla-scented Vancouver variety. Fragrant Star is showy, with beautiful texture, and it looks great in a patio pot. Vancouver Clematis are bred from heritage genetics—classic styles, shapes and colors. However, as a new generation, they exhibit stronger disease resistance, free flowering and extraordinary garden performances. The modern, compact habits make it possible to feature them in container gardening. Clematis 'Fragrant Star'
