Product Description

This perennial flower is named for the unusual balloon-shaped buds, which burst into curvaceous star-shaped flowers. Each 2-3" bloom is darling, and at a mature height of about 20", Fuji makes a precious accent in a patio pot. You can even add a few stems into your mixed flower arrangement. It's long lasting in the vase and not quite as pendulous as some, so the blooms will show their faces nicely. In the garden, Fuji's flower color is very refreshing, especially against the many shades of green in a perennial border. If you want to make a big splash with cool tones, you'll want to grow it en masse. The little blooms make a strong show all together. It doesn't just look great, you'll love how easy it is to maintain. Fuji flowers dependably throughout the summer if regularly deadheaded. Plus, it's pest and disease resistant, and rarely of any interest to deer. Platycodon grandiflorus 'Fuji Blue'
