Product Description

This hummingbird mint is bright from its pastel bottlebrush flowers to the brilliant chartreuse on its leaves, and that makes a big difference against all the classic greens of a mixed border. This perennial not only looks good, it performs just how you'd want it to in a low-maintenance landscape. Get it established and it'll shine—dry, quick draining, drought prone soil is no issue. Especially in winter, dry soil is actually the preference here. Another way Golden Jubilee makes gardening easier? The anise-scented foliage that gardeners love tends to dissuade deer. This variety is a win for container gardening too, it fills out a pot nicely and makes a luminous focal point. It's especially nice when hummingbirds and butterflies start flitting around the blooms. Agastache rugosa 'Golden Jubilee'

We should also say—although mint is in the name, this isn't the aggressive mint gardeners are trying to keep out of their gardens. This is a tidy, well-behaved Agastache, not one of the invasive forms of Mentha.
