Product Description

Haven't tried ninebark? This wonderfully graceful native shrub is a deciduous plant native to North America, and beloved for its low maintenance. Its wide-spreading form adds beauty and color to any space and works especially well in informal gardening, especially in cottage gardens, coastal beds, and windscreens. Small, creamy white flowers appear in happy clusters in early to midsummer. Foliage initially opens in yellow, but, in full sun, these leaves will transition to yellow-green or light green. The exfoliating bark from which ninebark gets its name adds interest, particularly in winter when leaves have fallen. Golden ninebark matures over one to two decades and is a great garden investment. Physocarpus opulifolius 'Luteus'
