    Product Description

If you're looking for blooms with really rich, velvety colors, you'll be in heaven with Grunwald. It flowers in abundance. These blooms are big, too, with a dramatic lighter-colored reverse on the sepals. Since they're so big and dynamic, and there are tons of them, they're an asset for the cutting garden. Did you know clematis make elegant, long-lasting cut flowers? Add Grunwald's dark blooms in your mixed bouquet and you will not be disappointed. This is also a fantastic garden feature, even when unpredictable spring weather is at its worst—these blooms hold up well in a surprise storm, making a lovely floral backdrop for your perennials. Clematis 'Grunwald' Skyfall and Grunwald are both newer introductions to our clematis line. They're strong back border performers, both extremely floriferous, and their colors play off nicely against each other. They're beautiful when planted together.

Grunwald Clematis is in the GREEN pruning category. It blooms on old and new wood, so prune as often or as fully as you like to promote reblooming. See our Stoplight Pruning Guide for more information.
