Product Description

There's nothing sweeter than looking out over a large planting of lavender and taking in its magical scent. Now you can enjoy that same feeling… on a much smaller scale. Hidcote is a compact English lavender variety that is perfect for adding color, texture and that trademark perfume to home gardens. Attractive mounding plants grow to 12" tall and sport silvery green foliage and tiny, deep purple-blue flowers that top each straight, sturdy stem. Like other lavender varieties, Hidcote does best in full-sun areas with well-drained soil. It is quite easy to grow and will thrive on neglect once established. Butterflies love the sweet scent and will visit the area to have a closer look, but deer tend to avoid lavender. Lavandula angustifolia 'Hidcote Superior'
