Product Description

Making shady sites stand out can be a challenging prospect indeed, unless you add our new Abiqua Drinking Gourd Hosta to the landscape. This uncommonly shaped and boldly hued variety displays substantial, dark blue-green, puckered leaves that form unique cups across the plant. This is a lovely choice for jazzing up darkened borders, shade-dappled wooded sites and other shadowy areas of the garden. In early summer, graceful scapes reach 22" tall and bear white, bell-shaped blooms for an even more exotic appearance. Abiqua Drinking Gourd exhibits good slug resistance, but is an excellent lure for pollinators such as butterflies. Tolerant of many soil types.
