Product Description

The mahogany brown center encircled by a red rim is not only beautiful, but it's highly attractive to butterflies and beneficial pollinators, so it brings greater beauty and health to your garden. HS First Love's petals are a lovely shade of apricot with flushes of yellow throughout. This single-petaled variety is a stunning addition to the sunniest part of the landscape and adds romantic flair to cut floral arrangements. Dahlias are not hardy, and in climates that get below 35 degrees, it'll need to be dug up in fall and stored in dry peatmoss in a frost-free location. Although, we have seen success with over-wintering in zone 6 when the tubers are planted lower in the ground than normal. Dahlia single flowering 'HS First Love'
