Product Description

Penstemon, sometimes called Beardtongue, produces numerous bell-shaped springtime flowers that are quite showy. Tall racemes of color appear in mid spring, just as other flowers are beginning to break ground. After a summer rest, these flowers will spring back when the weather cools, ready to give you a second vibrant display. This sturdy, well-branched Husker Red variety will fit in beautifully with both your spring and fall scenery. White flowers with burgundy throats, along with shining maroon foliage, mix and match with mid-season springtime bulbs, and mingle nicely with garden mums on their second bloom. Attracts butterflies and pollinators, easy to grow and deer resistant. Penstemon digitalis 'Husker Red'
