Product Description

We love rhododendron as much as the next gardener, with their bold evergreen texture and big showy flowers, but we're often disappointed in their performance in our area. Sensitive root systems are susceptible to heavy soils and high pH—too much water leads to disease, which leads to die-back. We're sure you've seen it happen, with expensive consequences. With new breeding specifically focused on a pH-neutral rootstock, Inkarho is sure to solve the soil issues surrounding rhododendron. Although slow to establish, they are more robust and suitable for a wide range of soil types. Even gardeners with heavy clay and loamy soils will reap the rewards of this genetic breakthrough. After breeders spent 25 years of testing over 1 million seedlings, we can reliably offer pH-neutral plants that are tolerant of acid and lime soils alike. We've obtained a limited quantity of this variety for you to try in your garden. Rhododendron ?Inkarho'
