These three Itoh peonies will bring remarkable performances to your garden for decades to come. Itoh peonies are what was thought to be an impossible cross between herbaceous and tree peonies. It's hard to find a decent selection of these anywhere, so we're proud that we can bring you three top varieties for a bundled discount. On a mature Itoh, over a dense, rounded habit with lasting foliage, you'll get over 50 blooms through an extended six-week period. That's a lot for a peony. Itohs can also take more heat and cold. Bartzella is a crowd favorite, with big, soft blooms that'll brighten any garden or bouquet. Kopper Kettle has a beautiful, modern blend of colors that makes each bloom fascinating. The foliage turns orange and red in fall for added interest. Along with vivid single and double blooms, Morning Lilac brings a fantastic perfume to your bouquets. Paeonia x 'Bartzella', 'Kopper Kettle', 'Morning Lilac' Peonies have few requirements: give them a sunny well-drained location, plant 2-4' apart, with the eyes (new buds at the crown) no more than 2" below soil level and apply fertilizer or compost in spring. They take a while to establish, often 3 years before the first bloom—but the wait is worth it. They are heirloom quality.
