    Product Description

Kaśka shows off some of the lesser known benefits of clematis--it provides autumn and winter interest, features brilliantly in a container and as a cut flower. Starting in early summer, the sweet, nicely rounded buds start opening into large, 7-9" flowers, creating a second level of color up above your perennial beds. Kaśka keeps blooming sporadically, in some cases even until mid-October. It's just as much a complement to autumn leaves as it is to summer sunshine. The flower color pops especially well on a darker background or red brick. After the flowers, silky seed heads keep the display interesting even in winter. This clematis is an easy- and fast-growing vine. It's a cultivar of a compact variety, and it performs just as beautifully as its parent in containers. Clematis are underutilized as cut flowers, they're actually quite long-lasting in a vase. Because Kaśka's flowers are unique and colorful, this would be the perfect way to set your homemade flower arrangements apart.Clematis tangutica 'Kaśka'

Kaśka Clematis is in the GREEN pruning category. It blooms on old and new wood, so prune as often or as fully as you like to promote reblooming. See our Stoplight Pruning Guide for more information.
