Just when you think spring will never arrive, the large, soft pink blooms of King Single Lenten Rose appear in the landscape to give you hope for warmer, sunnier days. Often peaking up through late-winter snow, this classic Hellebore is the perfect perennial to usher in the early growing season. Low-growing plants bear plentiful 4" flowers in shades of pastel pink, giving a serene look to shady borders, container gardens or bare sites between the evergreen shrubs along the foundation. Take time to venture outdoors during the last weeks of winter and you'll be greeted by showy blooms atop tough, drought-tolerant plants with glossy green foliage. Perennializes quite well.
