Then you get to the serrated foliage with its unusual dark green spots and stripes and you fall in love all over again. This is a tidy, low-growing hydrangea that forms a nice 2' tall, 3' wide mound. It's a charming focal point in a decorative pot, greeting guests by your front door. You could also feature it in a border. It's so handy for those smaller corners in unusually shaped borders; it'll fit right in and turn that space into an impressive feature. The bloom color will very depending on acidity.
