Product Description

Lavender has long been prized for its amazing scent, easy-care nature and lovely lilac-hued flowers. Munstead is a compact, mounding variety that gives a charming look to the home garden. Aromatic foliage and straight, strong stems are gray in color, adding a distinct look to the plant, while the rich lavender-hued flower spikes are covered in dainty, fragrant florets. This lavender is the perfect choice for creating fresh or dried arrangements, sachets, essential oils and perfumes. Munstead is right at home in herb gardens, rockeries or perennial borders. Delightful when planted in groups near a window or entryway where its wonderful aroma can be appreciated. Blooms appear in summer along 8" spikes atop 18-24" plants. Lavandula angustifolia 'Munstead'
