Here's a good-looking shrub in the rarest of lilac colors for late spring. The sweet-smelling creamy yellow blooms turn a slightly deeper shade as the blooms mature. The depth of yellow tones vary with the age of the flower and the temperature. Zones 3-7. Full Sun to Partial Shade. Ships in 4" pot. Syringa vulgaris 'Primrose'

    I bought a primrose lilac several years ago. By the time it grew enough to bloom I found out that it is definitely not yellow. Still, a very nice healthy lilac just wish that it was yellow!
