When we recently found pink Lily of the Valley to offer, we knew that many of you would want to grow both—the pink and the classic white. And if you're like us, you'd eventually want them in masses in your shaded or woodland garden. We've paired the two in a nice value-priced bundle of twelve plants, six pink and six white, so you can be picking nosegays for indoors even sooner. The heady fragrance of Lily of the Valley may seem old-fashioned but the romance just a few sprigs in a little vase provides never goes out of style.

Lily-of-the-Valley is a tough and dependable addition to any shady space. Not only does it reliably appear very early in the spring when not much else will bloom, but even after the flowers are spent, the plant stays around until late summer when vibrant orange berries appear, and its tight root masses discourage weeds from growing. Plant in groups to get the full effect of the enchanting blooms and sweet fragrance. Makes a great ground cover and spreads rapidly in the shade garden or under trees. Woodland areas and rock gardens also benefit from this aggressive but not invasive plant. If you really want to enjoy its delightful scent and charming flowers, bring a few stems indoors for displaying in a small vase. This deer-resistant plant prefers well-drained soil.
