This variety of hypericum also shows off in its compact habit, making a very dense and tidy display. You can grow it in a mixed border or utilize the compact form in a decorative pot. The ornamental fruit is a nice accent in an autumn cut-flower arrangement. Magical® Midnight Glow is semi-evergreen, only dying a little in winter in the northern areas. But it will be showy through most of that season, and its unique style will liven up the muted landscape. You can prune that dead wood away in late winter or early spring without any worry, as the fruit can be produced on new wood. In fact, all around, this plant is easy to grow and maintain.
