Magical Chocolate Hydrangea offers thick flowers on sturdy stems. Each bloom is built from petals with a beautiful, cut-leather texture that gives the flowers excellent water retention. These raspberry truffle blooms open in deep red highlighted with streaks of deep green, and the color, while not determined by pH, deepens as the plant ages. These red petals overlaid with the green kis what gives the blooms that rich chocolatey appearance. This hydrangea blooms on both old and new wood, so you'll have a second shot at color if last year's buds are damaged by frost.
