We partnered with the University of Minnesota to bring you mums that can withstand temperatures as cold as -30°F and come back bigger and better each year. We'll send you these mammoth mums in spring, when garden centers are merely beginning to grow their stock. Planted in spring, mums have the summer to reach down and establish a root base to carry them through winter. In the first fall, you'll enjoy a light spread of vibrant blooms on a cushion-shaped plant. It will continue to grow into the perfect, rounded shape you'd have to pinch, prune and deadhead most mums to get. In the following years, hundreds of blooms will blanket each massive plant. Grow them in masses, borders, containers or rows as the structure in your landscape design. Each collection includes 2 each of a red, lavender, yellow and coral mum variety, for a total of 8 plants.
