Performing equally well in full sun or partial shade, this deciduous azalea lights up your garden with vivid blooms in early spring before the leaves have emerged. The eye-catching effect of its early flowers is especially effective when planted at the edge of a woodland border, so that it's color lights up a darker area. It's generally easy to care for, but will not tolerate prolonged periods of drought, so be especially careful to water the first few seasons if establishing in a drier shady area.
