This warm-weather annual adds vibrant color and textural interest to back borders, mixed beds and cutting gardens, too. Flowers emerge in midsummer and continue to bloom until the first frost of fall. Mexican Sunflower boasts lots of bright orange, 2-3" daisylike flowers that grow readily atop sturdy, 4-6' tall stems. They also look amazing along a sunny fence line, or planted in a prominent spot as a seasonal specimen planting. Thanks to its bold hue, this showy annual is a beacon for hummingbirds, butterflies and bees. Mexican Sunflower is vigorous, drought tolerant and extremely adaptable to a number of garden conditions. Full sun. Deer resistant. Tithonia 'Torch'.
