This variety owns up to its name from the Parisian art district; Montmartre Bearded Iris is a masterpiece. The rosy standards and falls are made even more dramatic by the highlights and edging in golden yellow, and all those intense, swirling ruffles. The critics are just as enamored as we are—it's won the prestigious Wister Medal, Dykes Medal, and the American Iris Society's Award of Merit. Depend on its beauty in a container garden, mixed perennial border, rock garden and cut-flower arrangement. Iris germanica 'Montmartre'
